GHP Prep Class

organizations 3What is the Governor’s Honors Program?
The Governor’s Honors Program is an honorary summer program for excellent high school students. An average of 700 students are selected each year among grades 10 and 11, and the selected candidates gain an opportunity to study at a local college/university for 4 weeks. This intensive 4-week program offers major and minor programs in science, art, literature, mathematics, languages, and more. The participating students also have opportunities to attend various interdisciplinary seminars and events.

*** In order to participate in GHP, students are nominated through a teacher’s recommendation and must go through two rounds of portfolio review/interviews.***
